Getting There

• Bus

  From the central bus station in Aveiro, take the bus to Arouca. Look for buses operated by Rede Expressos or a local bus service that heads to Arouca. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Arouca bus terminal, exit the terminal and find a local bus or taxi that will take you to Junqueiro, Albergaria da Serra. The destination is approximately 7 kilometers from the bus station, and a taxi would be the quickest option.

• Walking & Taxi

  If you prefer to walk, after reaching Arouca, you can walk towards Junqueiro. However, this will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. For a more efficient route, once you reach Arouca, you can hire a local taxi from the bus station to take you directly to Junqueiro, Albergaria da Serra. Ensure to confirm the fare beforehand with the taxi driver.

• Cycling

  For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Aveiro and cycling to Arouca can be an option. Follow the bike paths along the river and then head towards Arouca. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers, and the ride may take around 2 hours.
