From Aveiro city center, walk to the bus terminal located at Avenida Dr. Lourenço Peixinho. Look for the bus company 'Rede Expressos' or 'Viação Aveirense' that operates buses to Gafanha da Encarnação. Purchase a ticket for the destination 'Gafanha da Encarnação'. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gafanha da Encarnação bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards R. da Quinta do Cravo. Turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Praia da Costa Nova.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Aveiro. Start your ride from the city center and head towards the direction of the Ria de Aveiro. Follow the bike paths along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Avenida do Pescador. Continue straight on this road until you reach R. da Quinta do Cravo. Praia da Costa Nova will be a short ride further down this road, approximately 30-40 minutes total.

Walking
For those who prefer to walk, start from the central Praça do Peixe in Aveiro. Head south towards R. de João Mendonça, and continue straight until you reach the waterfront. From there, follow the path along the Ria de Aveiro until you reach the bridge that leads to Gafanha da Encarnação. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight on R. da Quinta do Cravo. Praia da Costa Nova should be about a 1-hour walk from Praça do Peixe.
