If you are driving from Ponta Delgada, take the Estrada Regional 1 (ER1) heading east. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Lagoa and continue on this road for about 5 km. Follow the signs for Agua de Pau. Once you arrive in Agua de Pau, continue straight until you see signs for Caloura. The beach is well marked and has parking available.

To reach Caloura by public transport, start at the Ponta Delgada bus terminal. Take the local bus (Line 1) towards Lagoa. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Agua de Pau. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Caloura beach. Follow the main road towards the coast, and you will see signs leading you to the beach.

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Ponta Delgada to Caloura. The taxi ride will take approximately 25 minutes and should cost around €25-€30. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver beforehand.
