Once you reach Furnas, follow the signs to Lagoa das Furnas. Park in the designated parking area near the lake. The fumaroles are easily accessible from the parking area, just a short walk away.

The bus service is operated by 'Transportses de São Miguel' and typically takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Furnas, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) towards Lagoa das Furnas or take a local taxi to get closer to the fumaroles.
