Car
From any location in Beira Alta, head towards the A25 motorway. If you are near the city of Viseu, take the A25 towards Aveiro. Continue on the A25 for approximately 40 km, then take the exit for N16 towards Oliveira do Hospital. Follow N16 and then take the N2 road towards the Unnamed Road, where Passadiços do Penedo Furado is located. Look for signs as you get closer. There is a parking area available near the start of the hiking trail, where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Viseu to Oliveira do Hospital. Buses operate regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Oliveira do Hospital, you may need to take a taxi to the Unnamed Road where Passadiços do Penedo Furado is located. The taxi ride should take about 20 minutes and might cost around €15 to €20. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary depending on the day.
