Getting There

  From the center of Beira Alta, take the A1 motorway heading towards Vila do Conde. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 km until you reach the exit for A7 towards Braga. Merge onto A7 and travel for about 20 km. Take the exit for N101 towards Vila de Prado. Follow N101 for 10 km, and then turn onto the local roads. Continue straight until you reach Ponte de Prado, located at 4730-460 Vila de Prado. Parking is available near the bridge.

  Start by taking a regional train from Beira Alta to Braga, which takes about 1 hour. Once in Braga, head to the bus station located adjacent to the train station. Take the bus headed to Vila de Prado, which runs every 30 minutes and costs around €2. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Vila de Prado, it is a short 10-minute walk to Ponte de Prado. Follow the signs towards the river, and you'll find the bridge easily.
