If you are driving from central Beira Litoral, start by heading north on the N18 road towards Castelo Branco. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kilometers. As you approach Castelo Branco, follow signs for the city center. Once in the city, take the exit towards Rua da Liberdade, then turn left onto Rua dos Cavaleiros. The Museu Cargaleiro will be on your right at R. dos Cavaleiros 23. Parking may be available nearby; check for local signage regarding parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Museu Cargaleiro using public transportation, take a train or bus from Beira Litoral to Castelo Branco. The train services are available from Beira Litoral station, and you can check schedules at the station or online. Upon arrival at Castelo Branco station, exit and look for local buses or taxis to take you to the museum. You can take bus line 1 or 3 which will drop you near the city center. From the bus stop, walk east on Rua da Liberdade, then turn left onto Rua dos Cavaleiros. The museum will be on your right. Keep in mind that bus fares range from €1 to €3 depending on the distance.
