If you are in the city center of Braga, start by heading towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk down this main avenue until you reach the intersection with Rua de Sá de Miranda. Turn right onto Rua de Sá de Miranda and continue walking straight until you reach the train station, Estação de Braga. From there, you can take a train to Porto. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the São Bento train station in Porto, exit the station and head towards the historic center. Follow the signs towards the Ribeira area, which is about a 15-minute walk. You’ll pass through Rua de 31 de Janeiro and then down to the riverside where you’ll find Cais da Ribeira, a picturesque waterfront area filled with restaurants and bars.

Once at the Estação de Braga, purchase a train ticket to Porto. The trains to Porto run frequently, and the ride should take around 40 minutes.
