    Getting There

    Metro

    From the center of Braga, head to the Braga Metro station located at Rua do Sol. Take the Metro Line A direction of 'Estádio do Dragão'. After approximately 40 minutes, you will arrive at the 'São Bento' station in Porto. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the 'São Bento' train station.

    Train

    At 'São Bento' train station, purchase a ticket for the train to 'General Torres station' (the ride takes about 10 minutes). Once you arrive at General Torres, exit the station and follow the signs to Cais de Gaia. It's a short walk across the bridge over the Douro River.

    Walking

    After crossing the bridge, you will find yourself on the waterfront at Cais de Gaia. Walk along the promenade where you can enjoy views of Porto across the river. Cais de Gaia is well-signposted, and you will see many attractions and restaurants along this scenic route.

    Bus

    Alternatively, from Braga city center, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal to Porto. Once in Porto, transfer to a local bus (line 901 or 902) towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Get off at the 'Cais de Gaia' stop, which is right by the waterfront.
