Getting There

    From the center of Braga, head to the Braga bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Braga). Board a bus heading towards Gerês or Vilar da Veiga. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Vilar da Veiga, which is the closest village to Cascata de Leonte.

  • Walking

    Once you arrive in Vilar da Veiga, disembark from the bus and head south on Rua de Vilar towards the main road (N103). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Rua da Cascata. Turn right onto Rua da Cascata, which will lead you directly to the Cascata de Leonte. The walk from the bus stop to the waterfall is approximately 15-20 minutes.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Braga. Follow the same route to the bus station to take the bus to Vilar da Veiga.
