Walking
If you are in the center of Ponte de Lima, start by heading east along the Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua do Comércio. Follow this road until you reach the main road (N201). Cross the road carefully and follow the signs for Ermelo. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will arrive in Ermelo. The Mosteiro de Ermelo will be on your left side, just off the main road.
Bus
From the Ponte de Lima bus station, take the bus heading towards 'Ermelo'. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Ermelo, disembark at the Ermelo stop. The Mosteiro de Ermelo is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 500 meters. Head southwest on Rua da Igreja and you will see the monastery on your right.
