Walking
From the central area of Braga, head towards Avenida da Liberdade. Once you reach the avenue, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Paulo. Turn left onto Rua de São Paulo and follow it until you reach Praça da República. Once you arrive at Praça da República, look for signs directing you to the train station. The station is about a 15-minute walk from the square. After passing the train station, continue straight until you reach the main road. Take a bus or tram heading towards Porto and disembark at the stop closest to Largo António Calém.
Public Transport
From the Braga city center, walk to the Braga bus station located at Avenida da Liberdade. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Porto. The journey to Porto takes approximately 30-50 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Porto, head towards the nearest metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto). Take the metro line D (yellow line) towards Santo Ovidio. Disembark at the stop for 'Trindade' and transfer to line A (blue line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the 'São Bento' station. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Largo António Calém.
