Getting There

Bus

From Braga city center, walk to the bus station at Avenida da Liberdade. Look for the bus line 2 or 3 that goes to Porto. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Porto bus station, exit and head towards the metro station located nearby. Take the metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the 'São Bento' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Continue straight until you reach Alameda de Basílio Teles. The Porto Tram Museum will be on your left.
Train

Head to the Braga train station, located at Avenida da Liberdade. Take a train to Porto São Bento station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Porto São Bento, exit the station and walk towards Rua de 31 de Janeiro. Continue straight and turn left onto Alameda de Basílio Teles. The Porto Tram Museum will be located on your left.
Walking

If you are in the central area of Braga, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the train station and then take a train to Porto. Start at Praça da República and head down Rua do Teatro. Once you reach Avenida da Liberdade, turn right and walk to the train station. From there, take a train to Porto São Bento and follow the train guidance above.
Metro (via Porto)

After arriving in Porto from Braga, if you want to use the metro, start at São Bento station. Look for Line A (Blue Line) and take it towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the 'Trindade' station and transfer to Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovídio. Get off at 'São João' station and walk towards Alameda de Basílio Teles. The Porto Tram Museum will be on your left.
