If you are in the city center of Braga, head towards Avenida da Liberdade. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Misericórdia. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, and you will come to Praça da República in Viana do Castelo. Look for the large square with a fountain and surrounding cafes.

From Braga, you can take a train to Viana do Castelo. Head to the Braga Train Station (Estação de Comboios de Braga) and purchase a ticket to Viana do Castelo. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Viana do Castelo Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de Cabo Verde. Walk straight for approximately 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Praça da República.
