Getting There
Walking
If you are in the center of Braga, start at the Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga). From the cathedral, head southeast on Rua do Raio towards Rua de Sá de Miranda. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Praça da República. From there, take a right onto Avenida da Liberdade and walk for another 300 meters until you reach the bus stop for Porto. Take the bus number 1 from this stop, which will take you directly to Porto. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Praça de Gomes Teixeira, which is located in the Clérigos area of Porto. Once you get off the bus, you will see the square ahead.
Public Transport (Train and Tram)
From Braga's main train station (Estação de Braga), take a train to Porto São Bento station. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Porto São Bento, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Board the Tram Line 22, which is a popular route for tourists. Ride the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Clérigos. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Praça de Gomes Teixeira, which is right in the heart of the Clérigos district.

From Braga, you can catch a bus at the Braga Bus Station. Look for the bus company 'Rede Expressos' that operates direct buses to Porto. The journey takes about 45 minutes.
