Getting There

Walking
If you're in the center of Braga, start at Praça da República, which is a popular square. From there, head southwest on Avenida da Liberdade towards Rua de Camoes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São João. Turn right onto Rua de São João and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will find yourself at the São João do Souto Church. From the church, walk down towards Rua dos Capelistas and follow it until you reach the train station (Estação de Braga). From the station, take a train towards Porto (about 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Porto, exit the station and head towards the metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto). Take the metro towards Estádio do Dragão and get off at the 'São Bento' stop. Exit the metro and head southwest towards Rua do Barredo, which is in the Ribeira area of Porto.

Public Transport
From the center of Braga, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Braga). You can take a bus that goes directly to Porto (check local schedules for exact lines). The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Porto, follow the signs to the metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto). Take the metro towards São Bento and get off at São Bento station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Ribeira area, following Rua do Barredo until you reach your destination.
