Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Braga city center, head to the Braga bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de Braga). You can either walk to the terminal or take a local bus. Once at the bus terminal, look for the bus heading towards Arcos de Valdevez. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Arcos de Valdevez bus stop, exit the bus and head towards Tibo. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions, as Tibo is a small area nearby. It is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus stop to the Tibo Lookout.

• Walking

  If you are already in Arcos de Valdevez, start from the town square (Praça do Comércio). From the square, head northwest on Rua 1º de Maio. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Rua de Tibo. Turn left onto Rua de Tibo and follow the road uphill for about 1.5 kilometers. The Tibo Lookout is located at the top of the hill, and you will be greeted by stunning views of the surrounding area.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route and do not mind spending a little extra, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app (such as Uber) from Braga to Tibo. Simply input 'Tibo Lookout, Arcos de Valdevez' as your destination. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the lookout point is easily accessible from the drop-off point.
