Bus
From Braga city center, head to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Braga). Look for the bus lines that head towards Várzea Cova. You can take Bus Line 24 or 25, which will take you towards the outskirts of Braga. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Várzea Cova, get off at the 'Estrada Nacional' stop. From there, walk along Rua da Estrada Nacional heading northeast for about 10 minutes. You will see Vinhos Norte on your left, at number 310.
Taxi
To reach Vinhos Norte by taxi, simply flag down a taxi in Braga or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address: 'Freguesia de, Rua da Estrada Nacional nr. 310 e Várzea Cova PT, 4820-820'. The trip should take around 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to make a day out of it, you can walk from Braga to Vinhos Norte. Start by heading east on Avenida da Liberdade towards the Parque da Cidade. Continue walking through the park, then follow the signs towards Várzea Cova. The walk is about 7 kilometers and will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
