From the center of Caldas da Rainha, head towards Praça da República. Once you reach the square, find the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário) on the north side. Take the bus heading to Óbidos, which departs frequently. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Alight at the Óbidos bus station. From there, walk towards the village center, following the signs to Castelo de Óbidos. It’s a short 15-minute walk. You will see the castle walls as you approach.

Start at the Caldas da Rainha bus station (Terminal Rodoviário) located at Praça da República. Board a bus to Óbidos, which operates every 30 minutes. The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Óbidos bus station. Walk towards the town center, following the road signs to Castelo de Óbidos, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
Taxi

You can take a taxi from any point in Caldas da Rainha directly to the entrance of Castelo de Óbidos. Simply ask your taxi driver to take you to R. Josefa de Óbidos, 2510-001 Óbidos. The drive will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic.
