Walking
If you are starting from the center of Caldas da Rainha, head southeast on Rua Dr. Joaquim L. Gomes towards Praça da Fruta. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua José Lúcio da Silva. Walk straight for about 500 meters, passing by several shops and cafes. You will see the large ceramic fountain at Praça 5 de Outubro on your right. Continue on this road, which becomes Rua Alm. Cândido Reis. The Monumento Zé Povinho e Bordalo will be on your left at number 2500, right across from a small park.

Public Transport
From the Caldas da Rainha train station, you can take the local bus line that heads towards the city center. Board the bus and get off at the stop 'Praça 5 de Outubro'. From there, walk southeast along Rua Alm. Cândido Reis, which is a straightforward 5-minute walk. The monument will be located at number 2500, just on your left side. Look for the distinctive ceramic statue, which is a representation of Zé Povinho.
