Getting There

  • Bus

    From Caldas da Rainha, walk to the main bus station located at Av. do Comboio, 2. Purchase a ticket to Nazaré. Buses generally run every hour. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nazaré, disembark at the bus terminal. After exiting the terminal, walk towards the beach area, following the signs towards the promenade.

    From the bus terminal, head straight towards the beach and turn left onto the beachfront promenade. Continue walking along the coastline until you reach the Avenida da Liberdade. Turn right and walk until you reach Estr. do Farol. Follow this road for about 15-20 minutes, and you will reach Farol da Nazaré. Look for signs indicating the lighthouse.
