Train
From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station, which is located in the town center. Purchase a ticket to the 'Cais do Sodré' station in Lisbon. Board the train, which runs frequently (every 20-30 minutes). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Cais do Sodré', follow the signs to the metro. Take the Metro Green Line (Linha Verde) towards 'Telheiras' and get off at 'Alameda' station. From there, transfer to the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) towards 'Aeroporto' and get off at 'Oriente' station. Exit the station, and you will be in Parque das Nações, where Alameda dos Oceanos is located.
Bus
From Cascais, head to the bus terminal near the Cascais train station. Look for the bus service to Lisbon (Lisboa) operated by Scotturb or another local bus company. Purchase a ticket, and board the bus heading to Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Lisbon, you can either take the metro from 'Marquês de Pombal' station or walk towards 'Cais do Sodré' to catch the metro. If you choose to take the metro, board the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards 'Telheiras' and get off at 'Alameda' station. Transfer to the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) towards 'Aeroporto' and alight at 'Oriente' station. From there, follow the signs to Parque das Nações and find your way to Alameda dos Oceanos.
Walking and Metro
If you are already in the central area of Cascais, you can walk to the Cascais train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the town center. Once there, buy a ticket for the train to 'Cais do Sodré' in Lisbon. After arriving at 'Cais do Sodré', take the metro on the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards 'Telheiras', and transfer at 'Alameda' to the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) towards 'Aeroporto'. Get off at 'Oriente' station. You can then walk to Parque das Nações and reach Alameda dos Oceanos in about 10 minutes.
