Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Cascais train station, exit and head south towards Av. Dom Carlos I. Continue straight on Av. Dom Carlos I until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Oliveira. Follow this street until it turns into Rua dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua 6. Turn left onto Rua 6, and you will find Forte da Crismina on your right.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Cascais train station, walk to the nearby bus stop 'Cascais Centro'. Take the bus number 403 towards 'Praia do Guincho'. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Forte da Crismina'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance down Rua 6, and you will see the fort on your right.

  • Biking

    If you prefer biking, from the Cascais train station, rent a bike from one of the nearby rental shops. Head south on Av. Dom Carlos I, then follow the same route as walking.
