    Getting There

    Train

    From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station which is located in the center of town, close to the marina. Once there, purchase a ticket to Lisbon (Lisboa). Board the train heading towards Cais do Sodré. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, transfer to the metro and take the Green Line towards Telheiras. Get off at Baixa-Chiado station. From the station, exit onto Rua do Ouro, and walk straight towards Praça do Comércio. Continue walking until you reach R. Augusta. MUDE (Museu do Design e da Moda) will be on your right at R. Augusta 24.

    Bus

    At the Cascais bus terminal, take the bus number 403 towards Lisbon (Lisboa). The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. You will arrive at the Lisbon Bus Station (Sete Rios). From there, you can take the metro. Follow the signs to the Jardim Zoológico metro station and take the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Change at Baixa-Chiado station for the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Exit at Baixa-Chiado, and from there, walk towards Praça do Comércio. Continue along R. Augusta, and you will find MUDE at R. Augusta 24.

    Walking

    If you are already in the center of Cascais, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the train station. Once you reach the train station, follow the train guidance as described above. After arriving in Lisbon, you can explore the beautiful streets of the Baixa district on foot. After exiting Baixa-Chiado metro station, head towards Rua do Ouro and walk straight until you reach Praça do Comércio. Continue along R. Augusta, and MUDE is located at R. Augusta 24.
