Getting There

Walking
From the Sintra Train Station, exit the station and head straight towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Turn left and walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the Sintra bus terminal. Here, you will find buses that can take you to Lisbon. Take bus number 403 towards Lisbon, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lisbon, get off at the 'Marvila' stop. From there, walk along Rua de Marvila until you reach the intersection with Rua de Xabregas. Turn left onto Rua de Xabregas and continue walking for about 200 meters. The Palácio de Xabregas will be on your right at number 40.

Public Transport
From the center of Sintra, take bus number 434 towards the Sintra Train Station. After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at the station. From there, board the train to Lisbon (Cascais Line). The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Lisbon's Rossio Station, transfer to the Metro and take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the 'Alameda' station and change to the Red Line towards Aeroporto. Get off at 'Oriente' station and transfer to the train towards Marvila. Finally, get off at the Marvila station and walk about 10 minutes to reach Rua de Xabregas 40.
