From central Cascais, walk to the bus stop 'Cascais Centro' located near the train station. Take the bus number 417 towards 'Estoril'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Praia das Avencas'. From the bus stop, walk down the path towards the beach, which is about a 5-minute walk.

Make your way to the Cascais train station. Take the train to 'Lisboa - Cais do Sodré' which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk towards the riverside. From there, you can catch a bus number 728 towards 'Praia das Avencas' and get off at the stop 'Praia das Avencas'. The beach is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Cascais and head towards the coastal road, Av. Marginal. Follow this road along the waterfront; it's a scenic route. The walk to Praia das Avencas is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Keep an eye out for directional signs to the beach.
