Public Bus
From Cascais, head to the Cascais Bus Station located at Avenida 25 de Abril. Look for the bus line that goes to Palmela, typically Bus 353. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Palmela. Once you get off the bus, head towards the main road and look for local signs pointing to Quinta do Piloto, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the Rua da Liberdade, then take a left onto Rua Helena Cardoso, and you will find Quinta do Piloto on your right.
Train and Bus
From Cascais, walk to the Cascais Train Station located on Avenida da República. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Lisbon and get off at the Setúbal stop. From the Setúbal train station, exit and head to the nearby bus terminal. Look for the bus line that goes to Palmela. Once you board the bus, it will take about 20 minutes to reach Palmela. After getting off, follow the directions mentioned above to reach Quinta do Piloto.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Simply provide the driver with the address: Rua Helena Cardoso, Quinta do Piloto, 2950-131 Palmela. The drive will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. This option is more expensive, but it will take you directly to the location without the need to transfer between different modes of transport.
