Train
From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station, which is located in the town center. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon. Board the train heading to Cais do Sodré. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station, transfer to the metro (green line) and head towards the station 'Alameda'. At Alameda, transfer to the red metro line towards 'Aeroporto' and get off at the 'Oriente' station. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Rossio dos Olivais.
Bus
You can also take the bus from Cascais to Lisbon. Head to the main bus terminal in Cascais and board the bus towards Lisbon (Lisboa). The ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisbon bus terminal, walk to the nearby 'Oriente' metro station. Take the red line towards 'Aeroporto' and get off at the 'Oriente' station. Rossio dos Olivais is a short 10-minute walk from there.
Walking
If you are nearby in the Parque das Nações area, Rossio dos Olivais is accessible by foot. Locate the 'Oriente' station and head towards the waterfront area. Follow the signs towards the Vasco da Gama shopping center, and you will find Rossio dos Olivais along the way. It’s a pleasant walk with views of the river.
