Walking
If you are in the center of Cascais, start at the Cascais Town Hall (Câmara Municipal de Cascais) located on Avenida Visconde de Juromenha. From the Town Hall, head northeast on Avenida Visconde de Juromenha. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida de 25 de Abril. Follow this road until you see the signs directing you to Praia da Rainha. Once you reach Praia da Rainha, walk along the beachfront promenade until you see the Santa Maria House Museum on your left at Praceta Farol.

Public Transport
From Cascais train station, take the exit towards the city center. Walk towards Avenida de 25 de Abril and cross the road at the traffic lights. Catch the local bus number 403 or 414 towards 'Praia' and get off at 'Boca do Inferno' stop. From there, it’s a short walk down Rua da Assunção and then take a left onto Praceta Farol where the Santa Maria House Museum is located.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Cascais. Start at the bike rental shop and head towards Avenida Dom Carlos I. Follow the bike path along the coastline, enjoying the views of the ocean. Continue until you reach the Praia da Rainha. From there, cycle up the small hill towards Praceta Farol where you will find the Santa Maria House Museum.
