From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station located near the town center. You can walk there by heading east on Avenida Valbom until you reach the station. Purchase a ticket for the train to Sesimbra, which typically involves transferring at the train station in Cais do Sodré, Lisbon. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, transfer to the bus number 207 or 403 that goes directly to Sesimbra. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Sesimbra, you can walk to the central area or your specific destination.
Bus
From Cascais, you can take a bus directly to Sesimbra. Head to the bus station located in the center of Cascais, next to the Cascais Shopping Center. Look for the bus service operated by Scotturb, specifically the line that goes towards Sesimbra. The bus ride will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Sesimbra, disembark at the main bus stop in the town center, from where you can easily walk to popular attractions or your intended destination.
Bike
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Cascais. Head towards the coastal road, Avenida Marginal, which offers a scenic route along the beach. Follow the path that leads to Sesimbra, which is approximately 20 km away. The route is mostly flat and very picturesque, taking you through beautiful landscapes. Make sure to bring water and take breaks as needed. Once you arrive in Sesimbra, you can park your bike at a bike rack near the main attractions.
