Walking
If you are in the center of Cascais, start by heading towards the Cascais train station. Exit the station and walk straight towards Av. Dom Carlos I. Continue along this avenue until you reach the coast. Once you arrive at the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the nearby bus station. From here, look for the bus that takes you to Lisbon (Bus number 403 or 417). Alight at the final stop in Lisbon, which is at Praça Martim Moniz.

Train and Tram
Begin your journey at Cascais train station. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon from a ticket machine or the ticket counter. Board the train heading towards Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk towards the tram stop located just outside. Look for Tram 28, which is a famous tram route. Board the tram and enjoy the ride as it takes you through several iconic areas of Lisbon. Get off the tram at the stop closest to Praça Martim Moniz.

From the Cascais center, make your way to the main bus station located near the Cascais train station. Here, you can catch a bus directly to Lisbon. Look for the bus line that goes to Praça Martim Moniz. The bus ride will take around 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Praça Martim Moniz, you will be just steps away from the tram station that offers the famous Tram 28.
