Train
From Cascais train station, purchase a ticket to Lisbon. Trains to Lisbon leave frequently, approximately every 20-30 minutes. Once you board the train, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 40 minutes. Disembark at the Cais do Sodré station, which is centrally located in Lisbon.
Bus
Take the local bus number 403 from Cascais to the Lisbon city center. The bus departs from the Cascais bus terminal and takes about 50-60 minutes. Make sure to have a ticket ready, which you can purchase at the terminal or from the driver. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Lisbon, you can easily walk to various attractions.
Walking
If you are already in the Cascais city center, head towards the main road Avenida Valbom and follow it towards the Cascais train station. From there, board a train to Lisbon as described above. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely 15-20 minute walk to the train station, passing by local shops and cafes along the way.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can also take a taxi or use a rideshare app (like Uber) to get to Lisbon. Simply request a ride from your current location in Cascais to your desired destination in Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
