Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Cascais, begin your journey by heading towards the Cascais train station (Estação de Cascais). From the station, turn left onto Avenida da República and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Cascais Marina. Continue along the marina promenade until you reach the end, then take the pedestrian path that follows along the coastline. This beautiful walk will lead you to the train station in Estoril, where you can catch a train to Lisbon. Once you arrive at the Rossio train station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk towards Praça dos Restauradores, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will find it located at the intersection of Avenida da Liberdade and Rua das Portas de Santo Antão.

• Train

  From Cascais, head to the Cascais train station (Estação de Cascais). Purchase a ticket to Lisbon (Lisboa) and board the train heading to Cais do Sodré. Enjoy the picturesque ride along the coast, which will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré station, transfer to the metro (Green Line) and travel towards Campo Grande. Get off at Rossio station, which is just a short walk from Praça dos Restauradores. Follow the signs to exit the station, and as you emerge, head north towards Praça dos Restauradores, approximately a 5-minute walk away.

• Bus

  Walk to the nearest bus stop in Cascais, located near the Cascais train station. Look for the bus line that goes to Lisbon (Lisboa), typically the 403 or 417. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic route to Lisbon. The journey should take around 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Lisbon, get off at the Praça dos Restauradores stop. From there, you will be right at the square, where you can explore the area and enjoy the sights.
