Turn left onto Avenida 5 de Outubro and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rua de Santo António. Follow this road as it curves and becomes Rua Direita. Continue walking until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Chaves). From there, you can take a local bus towards the village of Vidago, which will take approximately 20 minutes.
Walking
Once you arrive in Vidago, get off at the last stop. Walk towards the Vidago Palace Hotel, which is a prominent landmark. From the hotel, follow the signs towards the nearby forest paths. After about a 15-minute walk through the scenic paths, you will find signs directing you to Baloiço do Arquinho. The attraction is located on a hill, so be prepared for a slight incline.
