Walking
From the center of Chaves, head southwest on Rua da Misericórdia towards Praça Camões. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Avenida 1 de Maio. Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue walking straight along Avenida 1 de Maio. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Outeiro. Follow the signs as you approach the outskirts of Chaves, where the road will begin to slope upwards. Continue along the path for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Cascata de Cela Cavalos, which is located in Outeiro. The sound of the waterfall should guide you as you get closer.

Start at the main bus station in Chaves, located near the center. Look for buses heading towards Outeiro; these are usually marked with their destination. Take the bus that goes directly to Outeiro, which should take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Outeiro, exit the bus and walk towards the Cascata de Cela Cavalos, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs for the waterfall, and you will begin to hear the sound of the cascading water as you approach.
