If you are in the center of Chaves, head towards the Praça do Município, which is a central square. From there, walk towards the Largo da Estação, where you'll see the train station. Continue straight on Av. 25 de Abril until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de Lisboa. Continue on this street for about 500 meters until you see a small park on your left. The Monumento Nome Chaves is located in Largo Gen. Silveira, just a short walk from the park. Look for the large monument in the square; it should be easy to spot.

From the central bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Chaves), take bus line number 1 towards 'Largo da Estação'. Disembark at the stop named 'Largo Gen. Silveira'. The monument is located right at the square, just a few steps away from the bus stop. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
