  • Walking

    From the center of Guimarães, head towards the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães). Exit the station and walk south on Av. de Dom João IV. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the Praça de São Tiago. At the square, turn right onto R. de Gil Vicente. Follow this street until you reach R. do Passeio Alegre, then turn left. The Chafariz do Passeio Alegre will be on your right after a short walk.

    From the central bus station in Guimarães, take the bus to Porto (Linha 1). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bus Station in Porto, walk to the nearest metro station (Campo 24 de Agosto) and take the metro line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Get off at the station 'São Bento'. From there, walk towards R. do Passeio Alegre by heading southwest on R. de Ferreira Borges, then turn left onto R. do Passeio Alegre.
