Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Peso da Régua, which is approximately 25 km away from Casal de Loivos. Head northeast on N-222, enjoying the scenic views of the Douro Valley. After about 15 km, you will reach the intersection at Pinhão. Continue on N-222, crossing the Douro River. After crossing, follow the signs for Casal de Loivos. Once you arrive in Casal de Loivos, look for R. do Cabo da Rua. The D'Origem - Museu do Azeite is located at R. do Cabo da Rua 4. There is free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a train from Porto to Peso da Régua. The train journey takes about 2 hours. From Peso da Régua train station, you can catch a local taxi to Casal de Loivos, which is about 25 minutes away. Alternatively, you can take the bus from Peso da Régua to Pinhão, which runs several times a day, and then catch a taxi from Pinhão to Casal de Loivos. Ensure to check the bus and train schedules in advance to plan your trip accordingly.
