Car
If you are traveling by car, navigate to Miranda do Douro using the A4 motorway. From the A4, take the exit towards Miranda do Douro. Once you are in Miranda do Douro, follow signs for 'Cais Fluvial'. The kayaking location is situated at Cais Fluvial, 5210-000 Miranda do Douro. There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which can range from €1 to €3 for a few hours.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to Miranda do Douro. The train service from Porto to Miranda do Douro is scenic and comfortable. Upon arrival at the Miranda do Douro train station, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) to Cais Fluvial or take a local taxi. If walking, exit the station and head towards the city center, then follow the signs for Cais Fluvial. Taxi rides from the station to Cais Fluvial should cost around €5.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Miranda do Douro, you can walk to Douro Pula Canhada Kayaking. From the main square (Praça do Município), head towards the river. Follow the riverbank until you reach Cais Fluvial. The walk is approximately 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Douro River.
