    If you are driving from the Douro Valley, start by getting onto the A24 highway towards Porto. Continue on A24 for about 90 km. Then, take the exit onto A1 towards Porto. After approximately 20 km, take the exit for VCI/IC23 towards the city center. Keep following the signs for the city center until you reach Rua de Miragaia. Fado Maior do Porto will be on your right at number 54. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Fado Maior do Porto by public transport from the Douro Valley, first take a train from Régua to Porto São Bento station. The train journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Porto São Bento, exit the station and walk towards the Avenida dos Aliados. From there, you can either take bus number 200 or 207, which will take you close to Rua de Miragaia. Get off at the stop named 'Miragaia'. Fado Maior is a short walk from there, located at Rua de Miragaia 54.
