If you are in the center of Vila Real, start at the main square, Praça da República. From there, head east on Rua do Comércio until you reach the intersection with Rua da Alegria. Turn left onto Rua da Alegria and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida 10 de Junho. Continue on this avenue, passing the local shops and cafes. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs for the Centro Interpretativo do Vale do Tua. The museum is located at Estação Ferroviária, 5140-133, which is on your left. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
