Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Porto, take the A1 highway towards Lisbon. After about 5 km, take exit 15 towards Vila Nova de Gaia. Continue on the N222 road, which will take you along the Douro River. After approximately 10 km, you will reach Av. de Diogo Leite. Turn left onto Av. de Diogo Leite, and you will find Douro Velho at number 302 on your right. Parking is available nearby, but may incur parking fees depending on the time of day.

  • Public Transportation (Metro)

    From the center of Porto, take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Santo Ovidio. Get off at the 'Jardim do Morro' station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Douro Velho. Exit the station and head towards the Douro River. Walk along the riverbank towards Av. de Diogo Leite. Douro Velho is located at number 302.
