Car
If you are driving from the town of Peso da Régua, take the N-222 road north towards the town of Vila Real. After approximately 20 km, turn onto the N-313 road towards Miranda do Douro. Continue for another 30 km, following the signs for Parque Natural do Douro Internacional. The journey will take roughly 1 hour. Once you arrive at the park, you can park your car at designated areas near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Parque Natural do Douro Internacional via public transport, start from Peso da Régua. Take a bus operated by Rede Expressos to Miranda do Douro. The bus ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, and there are usually several departures daily. Upon arriving in Miranda do Douro, you may need to hire a taxi or check local transport options to reach the park entrance, which is approximately 30 km away, costing around €30 for a taxi ride.

From Porto, take a train to Peso da Régua, which takes about 2 hours. Once in Peso da Régua, switch to a bus heading towards Miranda do Douro. After arriving in Miranda do Douro, you can hire a taxi to take you the remaining 30 km to the Parque Natural do Douro Internacional. This option combines both train and bus services, and the total travel time may take around 4-5 hours, depending on connections.
