PRIVATE DOURO SUPERIOR & CÔA VALLEY EXPERIENCE Rock Art, Wine

One of our best experiences in Portugal

It was one of our best experiences while traveling in Portugal, and one of the best tours we have done in general. Our guide, Pedro, managed to organize the whole day for us on very short notice, and on a Sunday. We started by visiting the Côa Valley with a private guide, then had lunch and visited the museum. Later in the day, we went to a winery where we had a private visit and were able to taste some of their wines and products. The whole day was a lovely experience, and Pedro really made sure everything went smoothly. He knows the area very well and shared lots of interesting details about the Douro region along the way. He also knows a lot about wine. His family owns a small vineyard, so he was able to tell us a lot about the local wine, how it is produced, and what it is like to have a vineyard in the region. Overall, it felt like a premium and very personal experience. We enjoyed the entire day, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, history, and of course, wine. We would definitely recommend it.

Carlos was fantastic guide. Great driver, friendly and knowledgeable. He made the experience fun and educational. His explanations really increased our understanding of each part of the tour. We would highly recommend this tour company, Endless Weekends, and especially Carlos.
