If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the town of Murça, which is centrally located in the Douro region. From Murça, take the N323 road towards the village of São João da Pesqueira. After approximately 15 kilometers, turn onto the N222 road, which is known for its stunning views along the Douro River. Continue on N222 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Rua da Fraga do Puio. Turn onto Rua da Fraga do Puio and follow it for approximately 2 kilometers. You will find the Fraga do Puio Lookout at the end of this road. Parking is available near the lookout.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from major towns like Peso da Régua or Vila Real to Murça. Once in Murça, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to reach Fraga do Puio Lookout, as public transport options may be limited for this final leg of the journey.
