Once you arrive at the Montemor-o-Novo bus station, exit the station and follow the signs toward the town center.

After exiting the Montemor-o-Novo bus station, head north on Rua da Estação toward Rua 1º de Maio. Turn right onto Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Praça da República. From the square, take the road that leads up to the castle, following the signs for Castelo de Montemor-o-Novo. The walk will take approximately 20 minutes, and you'll enjoy charming views along the way.
