Start at the Évora bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Évora). Purchase a ticket for the bus heading to Estremoz. The buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Estremoz bus station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida da Liberdade. Cross the road and look for local taxis or check for available rideshares to take you to the Castle of Evoramonte, which is approximately 10 km away. Alternatively, you can opt for a local bus if available.

Walk to the Évora train station (Estação de Évora). Purchase a ticket for the train to Estremoz. The train ride typically lasts around 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Estremoz train station, you can take a taxi from the station to the Castle of Evoramonte, which is about 10 km away. Make sure to have the castle address ready for the taxi driver: R. da Convenção 6, 7100-314 Évora Monte.

If you prefer a more scenic route, you can walk to Estremoz. Starting from the center of Évora, head northeast towards the Estrada Nacional 4 (EN4). It's a long walk of about 10 km which will take approximately 2.5 hours. Once you reach Estremoz, you can hail a taxi to take you to the Castle of Evoramonte.
