⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely unforgettable day in Lisbon with Joaquim! We cannot recommend Joaquim from PrivT Chauffeur highly enough! Our private tour with him was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Lisbon. We were four friends visiting Lisbon and had originally booked a six-hour private tour. Joaquim went far beyond anything we could have expected – he spent eight wonderful hours with us, never rushing us and making sure that we experienced everything we had hoped for and more. From the very beginning, Joaquim was incredibly warm, attentive, friendly and professional. He listened carefully to what we wanted to see, understood our priorities and created a fantastic itinerary especially for us. He was extremely knowledgeable about Lisbon, its history, neighbourhoods, monuments and viewpoints, and throughout the day he shared fascinating information and stories in such a natural and enjoyable way. It felt much more like exploring Lisbon with a very knowledgeable local friend than simply taking a guided tour. What impressed us most was how genuinely interested he was in making the day perfect for us. He was flexible, patient and thoughtful, adapting the itinerary to our wishes throughout the day. He even made sure that we reached Parque das Nações because I had one rather unusual personal wish – I desperately wanted to see and photograph the famous Bordalo II Iberian Lynx made from recycled materials. Joaquim made it happen! 😊 And there were so many lovely personal touches. He even invited all four of us for coffee and a traditional Portuguese sweet – such a kind and unexpected gesture that made the experience even more special. We saw an incredible amount of Lisbon, but at no point did the day feel rushed. Joaquim knew exactly how to combine the famous sights, beautiful viewpoints, historic neighbourhoods and our own special requests into one wonderful day. We booked a tour directly through the company's website, and it turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip to Portugal. Our guide, Joao, was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining the history with incredible detail. He pointed out small details on the buildings that we completely would have missed if he hadn't been there to point them out.The tour took place entirely outdoors, and the setting was quite busy with plenty of other tourists around. However, this was no problem at all for us. It actually worked to our advantage, as we just took more time looking inside one building before moving on. This slower pace was perfect because it allowed us to take more photos as the crowds naturally moved out and away from the area.Joao went above and beyond by sharing extra recommendations for the rest of our journey. Since we are interested in Jewish culture, he gave us excellent tips on other places in Portugal to look for more information, specifically pointing us toward Monsaraz and Lisbon. This tour gave us the perfect historical foundation for the rest of our holiday. If you want a deeply informative and relaxed tour, we highly recommend booking with them!
