Day Trip from Lisbon to Algarve, Benagil, Lagos with Boat Option
Great views, easy experience
It was a great trip, it is a bit of a longer journey but if you have the time I would definitely recommend it. The views and weather makes up for the long drive- which wasn’t so bad as the highway is smooth and rest stop was provided. Our guide Dee was excellent, driving us safely around with lots of knowledge about each place we stopped. He took lots of great pictures for us as well. If the weather was a little warmer we might have gone in the water but we just admired from the shore. We had booked the boat tour option, which we were not able to do due to rocky ocean conditions- not in anyone’s control so it was ok we had to miss it. Dee did offer to arrange an alternate coast line boat tour instead of the cave tour which we appreciated the extra effort but we declined due to the water conditions and timing. Overall it was a great experience.
