Walking
If you are in the city center of Faro, head towards Praça do Comércio. From there, walk towards the direction of the marina. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street where it meets Avenida da República. Turn right onto Avenida da República and continue walking until you see Jardim Manuel Bivar on your left, located at Praça Dom Francisco Gomes.
Bus
If you are further out, take the local bus to the 'Faro Centro' stop. Buses 14 and 16 run frequently. Once you get off, walk towards the main square, Praça do Comércio. From there, continue straight towards the marina and turn right onto Avenida da República. Jardim Manuel Bivar will be on your left after a short walk.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi to Jardim Manuel Bivar. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Praça Dom Francisco Gomes 12'. The ride should not take more than 10 minutes from most central locations in Faro.
